Just announced! The US Club National socecr tournament is coming to Boise in the summer of 2011!That's 5000 people and 6400 room nights in just 4 days! This is in addition to the Far West regional socecr tournament in June of 2011 that brings us 28,000 room nights. They come, they spend money, they leave. Perfect scenario. That is good clean business, the kind this valley needs.Kudos to the expert, well connected, very dedicated, and just dang fantastic staff at the BVCB for landing both these tournaments. Your dedication and perseverance during this very weird scenario is appreciated. The silent majority, the mayor and city council, and we misfits want you funded so you can continue your great marketing efforts and all of Boise can profit. C'mon gbad3! Help us citizens out and fund the BVCB. We have to pay the room tax when we travel and the entire city needs to gain maximum benefit from the room tax the hotels collect from visitors here. Boise needs to be able to continue taking advantage of that state grant as well.disclaimer******permission to post or endorsement of this post was not asked for, granted, or paid for by anybody including the mayor, gbad, the BVCB, ameritel, boise center, or those damn misfits that refuse to fade into the sunset******

Though Dinner and breakfast is fine here, my favorite is the self-serve, price-fixed buffet lunch special. Businesspeople, arts and cyber types, ladies who lunch, and families all have a great time here. On the menu No less than 4 subtantial delectable entrees, rices, pastas, healthy - prepared vegetables, numerous salads, fresh fruit, and 3 different desserts, are what's consistently here, time-after-time. You'll be a happy camper, so to speak, but drinks, including coffee, are a la carte. Large dining room, views of the Chenango River and Binghamton Riverwalk add to the atmosphere reminiscent of grand-scale 1980's opulence.
